About Me
Hello everyone,
first of all, thank you for visiting my personal web site!
My name is Stefano Passatordi and this is me
I was born on July 7, 1983 in Potenza, Italy. When I was 8 years old my father gave me a present that would change my life: my first personal computer.
I spent entire days in front of the computer learning by myself how to use it. It only took me a few days to realize that computers will be my future.
During high school I learned Visual Basic and C# programming languages and started to collaborate with one of the most important Italian online commmunities: DotNetHell.it. In 2002, I started my bachelor degree (BSc) in Computer Science at University of Basilicata. It was during the university years that I began considering the idea of founding a startup. Meanwhile, I worked as an IT consultant for a local firm in my city. My job resposabilities were focused on the design and development phases of operational software.
At the end of 2005, I obtained my bachelor degree and I went to Pisa (Italy) to continue my master (MSc) studies in Computer Science at University of Pisa. In september 2006, I moved to Aarhus (Denmark) where, for one year, I studied computer science, as an exchange student at Aarhus University. In 2008 I obtained my master degree in Computer Science and after a few months I founded my own start-up “Ibrii Inc.“. I’m the co-founder and CEO of Searcheeze, a web application which makes easy a collaborative search.
Currently I live between Rome (Italy) and San Francisco, working hard every day to make Searcheeze the best collaborative search service ever
I’m also member of UpStartRoma, a group of young entrepreneurs who aims to become the reference point for the Italian tech scene. Since I really enjoy being a startupper, I opened another blog entirely dedicated to the startup’s world: STARTUP: Project, Development & Deploy (for now only available in Italian).
Thank you!
